Empowering students and Families with Adoption Education
At Dakota Hope, we are excited to integrate the Option Hope curriculum into our outreach efforts, bringing comprehensive adoption education to north central and northwest North Dakota. Option Hope offers a free, evidence-based program designed to educate individuals of high school age and older about adoption through interactive presentations, real-life stories, and myth-busting lessons. Topics covered include the benefits of adoption, types of adoption available, the differences between foster care and adoption, and statistical data on pregnancy outcome.
Our trained educators, who have personal adoption experience, will visit schools, churches, and other organizations to deliver these engaging sessions, fostering empathy and understanding among students. By adapting the Option Hope Louisiana’s curriculum, we aim to provide audiences with accurate information about adoption, helping them make informed decisions and support their peers, friends or family members who may be affected by adoption. Through this initiative, Dakota Hope continues its commitment to promoting a culture of life and supporting families in our community.
For more information or to schedule a presentation, please contact Dakota Hope Clinic at 701-852-4675. Together, we can make a positive impact on the understanding of adoption in our communities.
We would like to give credit to the Option Hope Organization of Louisiana for allowing us to use and adapt their curriculum here in North Dakota.
