What you will find is evidence-based information about all of your options and professional staff to answer your questions. We will meet with you as much or as little as you need to make an informed choice you are confident in, but the decision is yours.

Below, you will find brief information regarding your options, but if you would like more information about how each of these options would work for your unique situation, please contact us to make an appointment today.

ABORTION

Pregnant and considering abortion? At Dakota Hope Clinic, you can find information and resources about abortion procedures and the risks associated with each. Like any other pregnancy choice, having an abortion is a decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly. If you are considering abortion, you likely have many questions about what abortion is, how much it costs and more. Contact us to schedule a pregnancy options appointment.

ADOPTION

Is adoption right for your situation? We can help you find answers to that question. Adoption has changed significantly in the past decade, with many types of adoption to choose from. Whether you want an open adoption, where you still have contact with your child, or a closed adoption, where your privacy and anonymity is prioritized, or you prefer something in the middle (referred to as a semi-open adoption), you have options.

You may be considering adoption for several reasons:

    • You are not ready for a child, but don’t want to have an abortion
    • You want your child to grow up in a stable, two-parent household
    • You want to focus on school or your career
    • You feel you are too young or not mature enough to be a parent
    • You don’t have a stable living situation or aren’t in a stable relationship
    • You don’t believe you are in the right mental state to raise a child

No matter your reason for considering adoption, we are here for you. Contact us today to schedule a pregnancy options appointment.

Your Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that you may have many questions during this time. At Dakota Hope Clinic, we are committed to providing you with clear, honest answers in a safe and supportive environment. If your question isn't listed below, please feel free to reach out to us.

How much do your services cost?

All of our core services—including lab-quality pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasounds, and options consultations—are provided at no cost to you. We are a non-profit community resource supported by local donors, which means you never have to worry about insurance or payment.

Do I need an appointment, and is it confidential?

While we encourage you to schedule an appointment to ensure a staff member is available, we do our best to accommodate requests. Most importantly, your privacy is our priority. All services are 100% confidential, and your information will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent.

What should I bring to my first visit?

You only need to bring a photo ID. You do not need to bring proof of insurance or any form of payment. If you are coming for a pregnancy test, try to drink plenty of water before you arrive.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. We understand that having a support system is important. You are welcome to bring a friend, partner, or family member with you. We also offer specific support and resources for men who are navigating an unplanned pregnancy alongside their partner.

Do you provide or refer for abortions?

Dakota Hope Clinic provides accurate, evidence-based information on all your options, including abortion, adoption, and parenting. However, we do not perform or refer for abortions. Our goal is to provide you with the medical confirmation and education you need to make an informed decision for your future.
